Interested in becoming a clinical mental health or school counselor?

The UNLV Counselor Education program seeks to recruit and retain a diverse student population as a reflection of our commitment to serve the people of Las Vegas and Nevada, to maintain the excellence of the University, and to offer our students richly varied disciplines, perspectives and ways of knowing and learning.

Info session attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Hear an overview of the UNLV graduate program in counselor education.
  • Meet program faculty and students. Ask questions about the program curriculum and/or the application process.
  • Learn more about the field experiences for students preparing to be school counselors and clinical mental health counselors.
  • Tour The PRACTICE, UNLV's community mental health training clinic.
  • Virtual tour of a School Counseling Placement.
