Join Las Vegas Rebel Chefs as they take you through a pre-selected recipe from their kitchen!
For our ninth installment we are excited to welcome Claudia Andracki, co-owner of Desert Bloom Eco Farm. Claudia will be showing us how to make Melanzane Fritte with produce from her farm! Las Vegas residents you can purchase a kit with all the ingredients (including a jar of Desert Bloom’s Specialty Pesto) to be delivered directly to you before the event. Link will be included in the registration confirmation.
Desert Bloom Eco Farm is a solar powered farm one hour outside of Las Vegas. The farm has been providing eggs and produce to the Las Vegas community, including 16 restaurants and multiple families for the last 10 years. Claudia is currently involved in expanding the farm to a second location comprising of 5 acres and has partnered with Chef Jessica Perlstien from Main Street Provisions to open Desert Bloom Salads at the new food hall, Platform One, opening in fall 2021.
Born in Mexico, Claudia moved to Las Vegas in 1993 and earned a pilot's license at 17 years old shortly after graduating high school. Claudia graduated from UNLV in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and in 2015 with her Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in New Venture Management. Claudia’s team won the 2017 Southern Nevada Business Plan Competition, where she presented on one of her business ventures, Aftaz Growing Systems, which designs and builds aquaponic systems. Both the farm and the aquaponic system work together to improve the sustainability of future farming
