The College of Engineering is hosting its first Conversation with Pioneers Series talk of 2016 featuring a conversation with Tina Quigley, RTC general manager.

Join us as she discusses her vision and the valley's need for an improved transportation infrastructure to support increased economic growth, create jobs and encourage innovation while building a more livable community. 

Reception - SEB Lobby, 6-7p.m.
Conversation - SEB Auditorium, 7-8:30p.m.

Tina Quigley - Speaker

Tina Quigley is the general manager of the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada. She oversees one of the few agencies in country that manages public transit, traffic management, roadway design, construction funding and transportation planning, all under one roof. Currently Quigley spearheads several initiatives to change how residents and visitors travel throughout the Las Vegas Valley by creating efficient and effective transportation options.

Steve Hill - Moderator

As the director of the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development, Hill has structured “Moving Nevada Forward” on top of ushering new technology-based industries as economic development. Hill also sits on the Southern Nevada Tourism Infrastructure Committee as its chairman.

The event is free and open to students, faculty and the public.
