During this synchronous workshop, participants will discuss the principles of creating and editing content for online learning. We will use examples to examine various methods of streamlining course content. To best prepare for this session, consider bringing your course syllabus or accessing your WebCampus course for reference. The goal of this workshop is to provide space for instructors to examine their current online course with a critical lens and find areas or content that can be improved, modified, revised, or edited to promote success, engagement, and interaction.
By the end of this synchronous course, participants will be able to:
- Organize course content to maximize student learning
- Apply principles of multimedia learning to course content
- Identify opportunities to streamline course content in their own courses
