Putting together a well-crafted syllabus can be a daunting task. By participating in this workshop, you will:

  • Understand the basic components of a syllabus

  • Identify necessary and optional features of a syllabus

  • Workshop a draft or completed syllabus (Note: If you do not have your own syllabus, you can bring one created by an advisor/mentor/faculty member or you can just provide feedback on another participant’s syllabus)

For this workshop, please bring at least two print copies (or a digital copy) of either a  draft or completed syllabus. Participants will exchange their syllabus with other workshop attendees. Thus, they will both provide and receive feedback. In addition, there will be a faculty member present to answer any questions.
