Complementary and Integrative Health: Opportunities in Research, Education, and Practice
There will be some demonstrations on acupuncture, cupping, and moxibustion.
This will be presented by an oriental medicine health care provider, Vim Osathanugrah, DAOM, OMD, Clinical Dean of Wongu University of Oriental Medicine. Wongu University is the only Oriental Medicine school in Nevada, approved and accredited to grant a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine. As such, Nevada is the first state in the US to grant licenses to practitioners of Oriental medicine. The accrediting agency is the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), the recognized accrediting agency for preparing acupuncture and Oriental Medicine practitioners.
