As we are approaching America’s holiday season, our nation is seemingly more divided than ever before. The events of Ferguson, Missouri have left many disenchanted. The goal of the UNLV Center for Social Justice is to provide a safe place for students, staff, and faculty members who wish to unpack this type of issue. As a result, we are holding an intentional community dialogue regarding the Michael Brown case, considering how scholars and students can create a healthy dialogue in the classroom and outside it regarding social and institutional inequity.
