The UNLV College of Fine Arts Visionary Series presents Expanding Transdisciplinary Research + Arts Practice in the XXI Century, a lecture by Genevieve Tremblay, Artist, Curator, Public Scholar & Innovation Catalyst. Genevieve Tremblay is the 2019 College of Fine Arts Research Scholar-in-Residence.

Genevieve Tremblay is a creative practitioner, innovation strategist, public scholar and catalyst working across disciplines and sectors to bring vision and clarity to pioneering academic and cultural program initiatives. She is part of a dynamic community of Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts (MIEE: Genevieve Tremblay) and her current research is focused on the creative and transformational applications of exponential technologies (VR, AR, XR, AI, Machine Learning, Blockcain, IoT, Data Visualization). She holds numerous titles-- a mentor at the GIX: Global Innovation Exchange, Co-Founder and US Executive Academic Director of ASKXXI: Arts + Science Knowledge Building and Sharing in the XXI Century, co-creator of the xTech + Impact Summit, program advisor to University of Washington’s social impact and leadership program AST: Accelerating Social Transformation, and Fulbright Specialist Roster Candidate.

Her work across disciplines and sectors has been funded through grants from 4Culture, The Rockefeller and Benton Foundations, Helen R. Whiteley Foundation, Oregon Arts Commission, The Ford Foundation, Stillman Drake Fund, Elizabeth Firestone Graham Foundation, Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción, UCSC Cultura and the US Embassy, Chile.

Genevieve received her MFA (Studio for Inter-related Media) from Massachusetts College of Art and her BFA (Intermedia) from Carnegie Mellon University. More information on her many projects can be found on her website.
