College of Engineering Fall Senior Design Competition

The College of Engineering would like to invite you to attend the Senior Design Competition, a highlight event of the yearlong senior design project, which helps focus the senior students on increasing the quality and potential for commercial application for their design projects.

Each student in his or her senior year chooses, plans, designs, and prototypes a product in this required element of the curriculum. The senior design project encourages the student to use everything learned in the engineering and computer science programs to create a practical, real-world solution to an engineering or computer science challenge.

A team of industry judges chooses winners in each category based on innovation, commercial potential, presentation quality, and sustainability. A cash first prize and second prize are given in each discipline and in commercial potential, in addition to a sustainability award and a grand prize. Awards will be announced at the College of Engineering holiday party.
