This webinar will cover a number of topics pertaining to COVID-19 and the future of public health, including vaccine approval and the proper use of emergency use authorization and other practices to speed approval and use, public health mandates, the allocation of scarce resources, and the panel's views on implementation—how do we balance federal, state, and local authority, and how do we ensure political independence of public health authorities so they can base decisions on science rather than politics?
