Description
Author of a new book about the persistence of East Germany’s 1970s-80s punk movement in the face of state repression and surveillance, Tim Mohr joins the UNLV College of Fine Arts at the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art for a symposium on the influence of art on history. Mohr is an award-winning translator and editor whose previous work includes the English translation of Charlotte Roche’s norm-challenging novel Wetlands, and the final interview given by Hunter S. Thompson. Refreshments will be served.
