CERT Training
Campus Location
Office/Remote Location

Description
Major emergencies can and do happen. If an emergency or disaster happens on our campuses, are you prepared to help yourself, your roommate or your classmates? In the event of a large-scale disaster, first responders might not be able to help all of those affected right away. That’s where you can come in!
CERT training can provide a few basic skills that can prepare you to stay safe and help those around you in the event of an emergency in the classroom, on campus, or at home. Our CERT program will educate and train volunteers in disaster preparedness and empower participants to take on more active roles in campus resilience by supporting emergency responders during and after an emergency, as well as during large exercises and public events.
Because of YOU, our campus can be a better-prepared and more resilient community. We invite students, faculty, staff, and their families to join CERT! Classes are free, but the experience is invaluable!
Join us for the 2-day training from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on:
- Saturday, November 16
- Sunday, November 17
**This is a two-day course. Attendees must attend both sessions.
