Dr. Paul S. Hesselink passed away May 1, 2023, at the age of 82. An adjunct faculty at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, since 1993, Dr. Hesselink played a major role in securing the university’s Maureen Jackson Smith Pipe Organ in Dr. Arturo Rando-Grillot Hall, completed in 2004 by the Rudolf von Beckerath Orgelbau of Hamburg, Germany. Our hearts go out to Dr. Hesselink’s family, friends, students. and many fans. He will be greatly missed.

Parking

Attendees are welcome to park in the Cottage Grove Parking Garage (enter that name into any navigation app for directions). Parking is free all day Saturdays and Sundays. At that time, visitors may park in any staff, student, or visitor pay space free of charge. Please observe handicapped/disabled, reserved, resident, and emergency parking restrictions at all times.

After parking in the garage (or to drop someone off closer), open Google Maps for the nearest entrance to the Lee and Thomas Beam Music Center. Dr. Arturo Rando-Grillot Recital Hall is located just inside.
