Description

Even when preparing courses, copyright and plagiarism are prevalent issues. Join us as we review “fair use” and university responsibilities when using materials within your course. This workshop will provide you with useful practices so that you can be sure to avoid copyright violations. You will hear from faculty leadership on your role and responsibility.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Describe fair use

  • Apply a fair use checklist

  • Identify your university responsibility and obligation when using material in classroom and online courses
