Trainer Bio
Holly Harden-Ramella (pronouns: she/they) is a UNLV alum and has been working in the interpersonal violence field since 2015. With a degree in Gender and Sexuality Studies, she works to incorporate an intersectional feminist lens to anti-violence work by centering the voices of the most marginalized and honoring their work. Holly believes that healing and education are at the core of ending violence. They hope to create and support spaces where those who have experienced trauma can share, heal and cultivate community. After graduating from UNLV she worked at the Nevada Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence where she supported domestic and sexual violence agencies throughout the state. Their primary focus was on Elder Abuse and developing sexual assault services in rural programs. She now coordinates the volunteer advocacy program at UNLV that consists of 30 peer advocates. Her focus is training advocates, developing them professionally, and coordinating all advocacy services & case management. In addition, her long-term goal is to center Queer and Trans victim-survivors by supporting anti-violence agencies in meeting the needs of the LGBTQ+ community.
