Description

The Department of Criminal Justice in conjunction with Alpha Phi Sigma (Theta Tau) hosts an annual Career Fair every Spring at UNLV in the Student Union. This landmark event mutually benefits students and criminal justice organizations by connecting more than 300 interested, educated, well-qualified, and motivated students with potential employers.

The event gives students the opportunity to meet representatives from federal, state, local, non-profit and the private sector, criminal justice-related agencies providing important services in Nevada and across the nation. The fair offers students and employers the opportunity to explore volunteer, internship, grad school, and employment options.

Students from all majors who have an interest in Criminal Justice are encouraged to attend and explore the variety of positions available in each agency. Career paths in criminal justice can range from enforcement, investigation, administration, marketing, accounting, design, communications, and more!

There will be two breakout sessions during the fair option to all students:

  • 9:30 am: Resume Workshop (SU 219)
