Campus Nature Walk: Countering Stress with Mindfulness
Join us for a short nature walk with Daniel Ogletree, Faculty Center Fellow, to discover UNLV's hidden flora and fauna. The health benefits of focusing one's attention on nature have been well-documented, even if only for one or two hours per week. Attendees are encouraged to bring a sketchbook or journal to write and/or draw as a means of practicing mindfulness.
Open to UNLV faculty and staff. Please register.
