Join Mr. Daniel Ogletree, faculty within the College of Fine Arts and a Faculty Center Fellow. He will guide us on a short campus nature walk to discover UNLV's hidden flora and fauna. The health benefits of focusing one's attention on nature have been well-documented, even if only for one to two hours per week. Attendees are encouraged to bring a sketchbook or journal to write and/or draw as a means of practicing mindfulness.
