Description

We invite you to join us on the beautiful campus of UNLV for an on-campus Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Art program information session. The UNLV Department of Art invites self-directed artists and designers to apply for the Fall 2022 MFA Program in Art. The three-year MFA is studio-based and research-focused with an emphasis on interdisciplinarity, community engagement, and professional development.

Representatives from the MFA program and the UNLV Graduate College will host a session on the personal and professional benefits of graduate education at UNLV, the MFA Art program, and the graduate school application process. We will also discuss the Post-Bachelor’s Track and the Post-M.A. Track and provide the latest updates on how COVID-19 is impacting the graduate admissions process at UNLV.

Our presentation will be immediately followed by a Q&A session with Wendy Kveck, Department of Art Graduate Coordinator. After the information session, we invite you to our Open Studios from 6-9 p.m., where you will be able to visit the graduate art studios, meet the MFA cohort, and discuss their recent work.

For additional prospective student workshops, drop-in sessions, and events, visit the Events page.
