BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography Auditions
Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) auditions are for current and new dance majors only. Students are automatically considered for the Dance Faster program during auditions. All students attending BFA auditions must also attend placement auditions on the same day.
Attire for the audition is basic dance clothing and ballet shoes, jazz shoes, or non-slippery socks. The choreography can be in any style and must be the student’s own work. It should be a short solo, no more than two minutes long.
In consideration of the ongoing pandemic, masks are required while on campus and during the audition process. Social distancing measures have been implemented to ensure everyone’s safety and everyone is encouraged to wash their hands frequently. Extra face masks and hand sanitizer are also available in the dance office (HFA 110) as needed.
For further information on the audition process, please visit the Admissions page.
This event is free and open to students.
Please email the dance office at firstname.lastname@example.org to notify the department you will be attending.
