The Best Teaching Practices Expo is an annual celebration of excellent teaching by UNLV Faculty. Each year, faculty are invited to submit a poster proposal on a teaching strategy that works effectively with student learning.

Posters will be displayed and will outline a teaching practice, describe how it addresses students’ needs, and provide evidence of its benefits to UNLV students. Faculty also include supporting resources and explain how other instructors can adopt these practices.

This year's distinguished poster presenters, Alison Sloat, Andrew Kauffmann, and Jorge Fonseca Cacho, will discuss teaching practices in the areas of affective learning, assessment, and online teaching.

Lunch will be provided.
