The Office of Faculty Affairs, in October, will hold several interactive workshops on Best Practices in Faculty Searches and Hiring. The Offices of Faculty Affairs, Human Resources, Diversity Initiatives, and Compliance jointly developed the workshop materials and integrated best practices from each unit’s perspective.
The workshops will discuss preparing the job announcement, recruiting a diverse pool of applicants, minimizing bias in the search process, and documenting the search process.
