Description
Join us every Saturday in October for two hours of art and poetry. Each week, a professional local poet will meet us at the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art where we will enjoy a different exhibition and create poetry inspired by the artworks. The sessions on October 8, 15, and 29 are ideal for adults, while October 1 and 22 are great for all ages. Participants of any skill level are welcome. Come for one session or all five.
The workshops will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on October 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29. Participants should bring their own paper and writing tools. Guests who require special accommodation should contact the Marjorie Barrick Museum at barrick.museum@unlv.edu or 702-895-3381 before 5 p.m. on the Wednesday before their chosen session.
