Samaya Nissanke, an astrophysicist from Radboud University, The Netherlands, will be the featured speaker at a Department of Physics & Astronomy colloquium.

Her talk is titled, "Follow the chirp: seeing and listening to the transient Universe."

There will refreshments beginning at 3:30 p.m.
