Description

During this asynchronous course, participants will explore the various formats for conducting assessments in the online environment, as well as strategies for ensuring that their assessments are aligned to learning objectives and course outcomes. The goal of this course is to introduce assessment formatting options and provide a space for participants to begin thinking about which assessments to use in future courses. 

By the end of this asynchronous course participants will be able to: 

  • Identify multiple types of assessments may work best for their course and content
  • Access potential assessments that work best in the online learning environment
  • Select appropriate assessments for their course, this includes course level, course content, and student population
