All Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV students are invited to attend the 1st Annual Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Guest Speaker Series. Continental breakfast will be provided at 10 a.m.

Session Title: Finding Your Ethical and Spiritual Compass in Medical School
Speaker: Dr. Richard Gunderman
About the Speaker: Richard Gunderman, MD, Ph.D., is the chancellor's professor of radiology, pediatrics, medical education, philosophy, liberal arts, philanthropy and medical humanities at Indiana University. He is a 10-time award winner for the Indiana University Trustees Teaching Award. In 2015 he was awarded the Indiana University School of Medicine's inaugural Inspirational Education Award. He also received the 2012 Robert J. Glaser Award for Teaching Excellence from the Alpha Omega Alpha and Association of American Medical Colleges. He has authored more than 800 articles and 15 books, and delivered over 700 keynote addresses, named lecture and grand rounds presentations.
