The UNLV Graduate Certificate program in Nuclear Criticality Safety Engineering is sponsoring the upcoming American Nuclear Society-Nevada Section spring dinner and annual meeting at Mike Tyson's mansion. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Jerry Cuttler, formerly of AECL and past president of the Canadian Nuclear Society. His topic will be the unexpected low incidence of cancer in the survivor populations in the low radiation zone of the Hiroshima atomic bombing and implications for changing the regulation of medical and public exposures.

Guests will be able to tour the mansion beginning at 6 p.m. We will have a no-host bar, and hors d'oeuvres (appetizers) will be served. Buffet dinner will include salad, entree, and dessert.

Admission Information

Cost: $50 ($20 students, $40 ANS-NV members and guests). 

Seating is limited, please register by May 19.
