Description

Using a blend of asynchronous content and 1 on 1 consultation, participants will complete Level 3 of the Online Teaching and Course Design training series. This level focuses on synthesizing various aspects Level 1 and Level 2 and analyzing specific course content along with individual teaching practices for demonstration and existence of competency within any and or all of the five concentrations: Assessment, Assignments & Discussions, Content & Materials, Course Organization, and Technology Tools & Resources. Participants will complete a self-assessment and a course inventory as part of this competency level. 

By the end of this blended training, participants will be able to:

  • Complete a Self-Assessment designed to promote reflection on personal teaching practices and online course design
  • Discuss strategies, techniques, and skills associated with competent online teaching and course design
  • Locate key components of an online course aligned to the Course Inventory
