The Black Mountain Institute and the UNLV Department of English welcome poet Andrew Nicholson, assistant professor-in-residence and past BMI Schaeffer Fellow. Nicholson received his MFA from California College of the Arts. His poetry has appeared in magazines and journals including Colorado Review, Witness, and Eleven Eleven, and he has been an artist-in-residence at the Palazzo Rinaldi in Noepoli, Italy. A Lamp Brighter than Foxfire is his first poetry collection.
