Description

We are pleased to announce our first Accessibility in InDesign training workshop from the UNLV Web & Digital Strategy Team!  It will be offered Wednesday, March 23 from 1:30 - 3:00 PM.  This will be offered online over WebEx, and will not be recorded this time around, though we may offer a pre-recorded option in the future.

Please reserve your spot using the registration form, and you will be sent an invite to the WebEx training event a few days in advance. You will also receive a practice document, and the training slides with additional resources.

What is needed for this training? A device that you can use WebEx to participate in the training. Please come prepared with a device that has Adobe InDesign installed if you would like to follow along with the tutorial.

You may find this training more useful if you have already attended some accessibility training prior to attending.  We will do a brief "recap" of concepts like Headings, Alternative Text, and Link Text, but will focus more on using the InDesign interface to create an accessible PDF.

Please reach out to our Web Accessibility Specialist at Jerra.Strong@unlv.edu if you have any questions leading up to this event.
