The 7th Annual Silvestri Lecture Series welcomes nationally and internationally-recognized health quality and safety expert Carolyn K. Clevenger RN, DNP, AGPCNP-BC, GNP-BC. Dr. Clevenger is the Associate Dean for Clinical and Community Partnerships at the Emory University, Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing.

Dr. Clevenger's research focuses on health systems and supports that impede or facilitate the quality of healthcare and quality of life for older adults. The Silvestri Lecture was established by UNLV School of Nursing alumna Linda Silvestri, PhD, RN to enrich academic, professional, and personal lives of the students by providing an opportunity to hear and interact with outstanding scholars whose research and accomplishments have received national and international attention.
