Throughout the year, the GPSA awards research and travel grants to students to support projects that directly affect their degree program and contribute to their discipline. In 2022-23, GPSA awarded over $200,000 to support graduate and professional student research and conference travel. The Annual Research Forum is an opportunity for students to share this work with the UNLV community. Of course, this Forum is open to all graduate and professional students wishing to share their research, practice their presentation skills, or obtain constructive comments on their work from faculty.

Awards Ceremony

The 2023 Annual Research Forum will be held in person at the Student Union Ballroom and livestreamed. President Whitfield will provide opening remarks to the ceremony. All session and GPSA Award winners will be announced at the livestreamed awards ceremony which follows the conclusion of the forum presentations. Faculty judges are encouraged to attend the awards ceremony.
