2021-22 Holmes Scholars Summit - Part II
The day, dedicated to College of Education doctoral students, will feature information dedicated to the needs of doctoral students of color. In addition to networking, doctoral students will participate in sessions and panel discussions, including:
- Writing with Authority with Dr. Nichole Joseph, Associate Professor of Mathematics and Science Education, Vanderbilt University
- Developing Innovative, Impactful, and Fundable Research Agendas with Dr. Gwen Marchand, Associate Dean, Research and Sponsored Projects, UNLV College of Education
The AACTE Holmes Program supports students who self-identify as racially and ethnically diverse and are pursuing graduate degrees in education at member institutions, including UNLV. The program provides mentorship, scholarship, professional development, and networking opportunities for those interested in obtaining academic positions upon graduation.
