Originally from Southern California, Roland is proud to call Las Vegas home for the past ten years. While working towards his undergraduate degree, Roland was "part of the magic" at the Disneyland Resort as a general foreman and stage manager for the entertainment division. In 2005, he received a bachelor’s degree in radio, television, and film from California State University, Fullerton.
In 2007, Roland moved to Nevada to become an on-air radio personality and producer for several morning shows in Las Vegas. After nine years working at iHeartMedia, he accepted a position as marketing manager at iSelfDirect, a third-party administrator for self-directed investments and retirement accounts.
With a passion for media and broadcasting, Roland decided to make the transition from employee to entrepreneur. In 2015 he founded FNGR Network, a podcasting platform specializing in the production, promotion, and distribution of several programs.
When he's not at work, Roland loves DJing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and surfing. He looks forward to the top-notch education and cohort experience he'll receive from UNLV's Executive MBA Program.
