Institute of Education Sciences
The Institute of Education Sciences is the statistics, research, and evaluation arm of the U.S. Department of Education. Their mission is to provide scientific evidence on which to ground education practice and policy and to share this information in formats that are useful and accessible to educators, parents, policymakers, researchers, and the public.
National Institutes of Health
The National Institutes of Health is the nation's medical research agency as a part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The NIH offers various education projects (Activity code-R25) that support the development and/or implementation of a program as it relates to a category in one or more of the areas of education, information, training, technical assistance, coordination, or evaluation.
National Science Foundation
The National Science Foundation funds research and education in most fields of science and engineering through grants, and cooperative agreements to various educational organizations throughout the United States.
U.S. Department of Education
The U.S. Department of Education’s mission is to promote student achievement and preparation for global competitiveness by fostering educational excellence and ensuring equal access. The Department awards discretionary grants to educational institutions using a competitive process.
