Register with the DRC

The Disability Resource Center (DRC) uses an online application form. Students who wish to apply to the DRC for services must complete and submit this form.

Who Should Complete the Application?

  • Students who are seeking disability services or accommodations at UNLV for the first time.
  • Returning UNLV students who wish to reactivate their DRC file and obtain disability services.


  1. Complete all items and submit the DRC Online Form. This will generate an email to the DRC and inform us of your interest.
  2. Provide the DRC with medical, psychological, or psycho-educational documentation that supports your request. You may fax, mail, or hand deliver the documentation to our office. Upon written request, the DRC will provide directly to a student registered with this office evidence (in the form of a letter) of his or her having received accommodations. It is the student’s responsibility to in–turn shepherd his or her information to a third party (e.g. other school or licensor organization). However, this does not apply to any other documentation that the student may have deposited with the DRC. Once a student submits copies of paperwork to the DRC which evidence his or her having a clinical issue, that information will not be returned. Likewise, that documentation will not be forwarded to a third party on behalf of that student or by his or her request.
  3. Upon receipt of your application and the supporting documentation, the Documentation Review Team will conduct an analysis of your application and supporting documents. Reviews are conducted weekly throughout the year.
  4. You will be contacted once the analysis is complete regarding your eligibility for accommodations at UNLV.
  5. If your application is approved, the DRC will conduct an intake meeting with you.
  6. If your application is not approved, the DRC will inform you of what may be needed or what your options may be.
