UNLV’s Office of Community Engagement conducts an annual survey of university faculty and staff to better understand the ways the campus connects with our community. We have created a dashboard containing some of the key indicators from this data to help convey the status of university community engagement. Several variables are explored here, including the number of community engagement projects and partners reported by UNLV faculty and staff, as well as project focus, partner type, and project alignment with community engagement objectives. We also survey partners identified by faculty/staff, and we have included here data on partner perceptions of community impact. Participation in the campus survey, which is conducted in partnership with UNLV’s Cannon Survey Center, is voluntary for faculty and staff; thus, the results are not a comprehensive representation of all university engagement. However, these variables do provide some of our best data to date representing community engagement activity reported.

If you have questions regarding UNLV’s community engagement activity or the survey, please contact our office at unlvcommunityengagement@unlv.edu. You can also learn more about UNLV community engagement on our website. Thank you for your interest!
