Join us for an afternoon of zine-making and dynamic conversation at the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art. Co-ZiLV, in partnership with the Barrick and the A4 Zine Club, will guide us through a discussion about the powerful grouping of artworks in Two Cultures, One Family: Building Family, Finding Home, a new exhibition that reflects on intersectionality and how different cultures help form one's identity. Co-ZiLV is a comics and zine festival based in Las Vegas, while the A4 Zine Club is UNLV’s premier student zine club.
This workshop takes place at the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art on Friday, September 23rd, 4 - 6 p.m. Attendance is free. Open to everyone. All materials will be provided. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own supplies or materials to share. Masking is recommended. Parking on the UNLV campus is free after 1 p.m. on Fridays.
