January 27-29 Opera Las Vegas presents the west coast premiere of A Capacity for Evil, a new opera by Evan L. Snyder and John Riseen.

The production features UNLV alumna Dr. Erin Gonzalez (DMA 2019) as Angelica and UNLV Assistant Professor of Voice Dr. André Chiang as Captain Smith; the stage director of A Capacity of Evil is Dr. Linda Lister, director of UNLV Opera Theater. In addition, the orchestra features cellist Dr. Andrew Smith and saxophonist Dr. Shawna Pennock.
