The mass upload of merit awards into the Workday system has been placed on a temporary hold until further notice. The upload did not occur as scheduled due to pending information regarding COLA effective dates and Workday transactional issues. Merit awards for CY22 will be effective July 1, 2023.
Subsequently, the deadline of May 30 for departments to review and verify Workday merit records against approved rosters has been postponed until further notice.
Please alert your department, as necessary. Compensation/Classification anticipates providing updated information in approximately mid-June. The Performance Pay / Merit System webpage will be updated as soon as more information is available.

Please note: The deadline for departments to submit actions for Compensation/Classification review was April 30. The freeze is expected to continue through August 31. Departments should refrain from submitting requests with the exception of items in relation to recruitment such as create positions, edit position restrictions, promotions through active recruitments.
