Research Skills Academy 2019 - Flyer Front.png
Oct. 22, 2021

Success and satisfaction in any research field requires learning research and professional development skills, as well as integration into a culture of research. Studies show early involvement in skills training and intellectual socialization is critical for all students, and especially for underrepresented students.

The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) Summer 2019 Research Skills Academy welcomes incoming and early career undergraduates to premier research training opportunities at UNLV. Initiated in 2017, this two-day immersive and inclusive program provides an introduction to research; professional development and career training; and opportunities to interact with faculty, graduate, and undergraduate scholars.

The Academy will be held August 6-7, 2019, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., in the UNLV Student Union.

Interested in attending? Please use this link to register. Registration will close June 30th. Space is limited. Students will be notified upon acceptance into the program. You must be an admitted and enrolled UNLV student at the time of the event in order to attend.
