This is a reminder that S/U grading will be available for the spring semester for the last time. 
 
For the spring the process to request S/U grading has changed and can now be requested through your MyUNLV account and will be done in real-time. Please see attached document for requesting S/U grading.
 
Finals grades are due by Tuesday, May 18 which means S/U requesting will start on Wednesday, May 19. Requests will only be accepted after final grades post in MyUNLV. It is important that you check your final grades, so you are aware of the letter grades you may choose to replace. The deadline to submit your requests is on Tuesday, June 8 by 5 pm. There are no exceptions to this deadline and any petitions submitted after this date will be denied by Faculty Senate.
 
If you request a change to S/U grading for any of your courses, the Office of the Registrar will make changes according to the following equivalencies: 
  • “S” = “D-” or better for undergraduate students
  • “U” = “F” for undergraduate students.
If you have questions regarding the policy please contact your academic advisor to confirm that you are fully aware of how the S/U grades would impact your progression and academic record. Also if you utilize aid/grants/scholarships, please be sure to contact the Financial Aid Office to see if there will be ramifications on your aid or scholarships.
