UNLV graduates, soprano, Dr. Sheronda McKee-Dollar (DMA) and baritone, Brian James Myer (BM) have starring roles in the Opera Las Vegas West Coast Premiere of D.J. Sparr, Mark Campbell, and Davis Miller's Approaching Ali. The 60-minute opera tells the heart-warming story of how the legendary Muhammad Ali inspired a young boy with his television appearances. At forty years of age, the now grown man has become a successful author, and he seeks out his retired idol, resulting in an unlikely, lifelong friendship.
