Viet Cuong, visiting assistant professor in composition (UNLV Music), was recently awarded the 2023 Frederick Fennell Composition Prize at the College Band Directors National Association conference for his magnificent new work, Vital Sines. He received $10,000 in prize money. Congratulations!
