WHEREAS, Automobile traffic is heavy and congested at the intersection of Maryland Parkway and the Del Mar/Moyer Student Union Horseshoe; and,

WHEREAS, Hundreds of University of Nevada, Las Vegas students and thousands of vehicles on Maryland Parkway cross the busy intersection each day; and,

WHEREAS, Many vehicles do not observe traffic laws regarding pedestrians
