Throughout the month of November, University Police Services, Southern Command will take part in the "No Shave November" fundraising campaign for cancer awareness and research.
"No Shave November" is a fundraising campaign in which members of our department are permitted to grow facial hair as a way to raise cancer awareness and attract donations for a worthy cause. Our officers have elected to donate our funds raised to the Ovarian Cancer Institute, whose goal is to develop a more accurate test for early detection.
Our fundraising goal is $2000, and we believe we can surpass this goal with the support from our amazing students, faculty, and staff members at UNLV. Please help us in our efforts of this cause by visiting the UPD Team page link and making a donation.
The department, on behalf of the Ovarian Cancer Institute, thanks you for your generosity and participation in this life saving cause.
