Jul. 25, 2022

When: Friday, Oct 14th, 2022
Employers & Alumni: 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Students: 12:15 PM – 3:30 PM

Where: Topgolf Las Vegas

About the event:
The event will offer employers and alumni an opportunity to recruit/network with LEE students who are seeking jobs and internships in a fun, casual environment.  Unlike a traditional golf tournament, we won’t have to worry about the weather or if your golf game is a little rusty. The fun atmosphere will make it an ideal opportunity for you to get to know our students.

How it works:
To participate, interested employers and alumni must sponsor one or more golf bays to host students during the event (please see the attached document for sponsorship packages and benefits). While there can only be six golfers per golf bay, employers may have non-golfing representatives in their golf bay(s) as well (the total number of individuals per golf bay cannot exceed 8).

Each registered student will submit his/her resume in advance and each sponsoring employer will have the opportunity to preview all resumes and select the students they wish to host in their sponsored golf bay(s) for each one-hour round. Sponsoring employers will host up to six students of their choice in their bay(s) for each of the two rounds. This will provide sponsoring employers with an opportunity to network and engage with up to twelve students during the two-hour golf event. In addition, the event schedule (see below) will offer a networking mixer after golfing so that all employers, alumni and students can network.

The Proposed Schedule:
11:30 AM: Employers and alumni arrive at Topgolf Las Vegas
11:30 AM – 12:15 PM: Lunch for employers and alumni hosted by Lee Business School
12:15 PM – 12:30 PM: Students arrive
12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: First round of Topgolf (Employers/Alumni and students)
1:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Second round of Topgolf (Employers/Alumni and students)
2:30 PM – 3:30 PM: Catered networking mixer (all invited)
3:30 PM: End of event

Sponsorship Opportunities:

The revenue generated through the sponsorship packages qualifies for the Cobain Matching Gift, which means that every dollar of your sponsorship will be matched by Lee Business School’s first graduate, Jon Cobain. The Cobain Matching Gift was created to support high-achieving first-generation college students in Lee Business School. In addition to covering the expenses for the event, your sponsorship dollars will be used to support student-centric activities and programs focused on developing LEE students’ personal and business professionalism.
