
Fitzpatrick, Professor of Music, most recently served as Senior Advisor to the President where he served as a liaison between the Office of the President and the larger university community. He coordinated and/or participated in numerous campus-wide initiatives related to infrastructure & shared governance, philanthropy & alumni engagement, budget and facilities planning, student success, faculty success, diversity, equity & inclusion, campus safety & security, and other important university events. A faculty member at UNLV since 2003, he served as the Associate Director of the School of Music and Coordinator for the Division of Vocal Studies for several years. Many of his undergraduate and graduate voice students are now professional performers and successful university professors both here in Las Vegas and across the country. He can be heard on the Albany Records recording Love the Fair Day: Songs and Duets from the Second New England School and Traditional American Folk Songs by Celius Dougherty released by Meyer Media, in addition to concert and recital singing engagements.
