The College of Sciences is seeking a student worker to help Dr. Alison Sloat, Sciences Faculty-in-Residence, with organizing and planning science outreach programs (Summer STEM Camp, Rebel Science Camp, and STEM Teacher Development Academy). The position pays $12 an hour and students are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week. 

The tasks include assisting with outreach activity supplies inventory, budgeting, purchasing, pickup, and organization; data collection and analysis; and workshop planning for the upcoming academic year. The summer hours and weeks are flexible, but specific help is needed in June during the hours of 9 am - 12 pm for Summer STEM camp logistics. The position starts immediately and extends into the 2023-2024 academic year.

The hours during the academic year are also flexible, especially if for students who have busy weeks during exams. Dr. Sloat is seeking a student who is organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
