Air Force ROTC carrying a flagHonor Guard:  The Honor Guard is an extracurricular activity in the Air Force ROTC program. It is designed to train drill and ceremonies and military professionalism. Members are taught more in-depth knowledge of drill and ceremonies than standard AFROTC curriculum dictates. They use this added knowledge and the acquired skills to perform various formal military presentations. One of the most common performances is presenting the colors at university sporting events.
